Most of us know that we can select continuous files and folders by holding the Shift key and clicking on the first and then the last file/folder. This also applies to selecting text on documents like MS Word, Notepad or any other text editor. All you need to do is click on the first character, then press the shift, point to the last character, click there and release the Shift key. Simple!

Here are some simple shortcuts that you might find useful if you use Chrome web browser for your internet surfing – Ctrl + T: New Tab Ctrl + Shift + T: Re-opens the tab you closed with the website you were on Ctrl + Shift + N: Opens browser incognito (private mode) Ctrl + W: Close the tab you are in Ctrl + 1-8: You can put in any # and it’ll take you to that respective tab Ctrl + 9: This will take you to the last tab Ctrl + ,: Opens your settings (in all programs) There are a many more shortcuts built into chrome.
